Trail Walks
Whether your dog is ten months old or ten years old, he may enjoy a walk with one of our staff on our well-maintained trails. It may mean a leisurely stroll with lots of petting and resting or a fast paced joy chasing butterflies.

Playtime
Play time activities are available for each of our guests. For a small additional fee, our playtime staff will offer your pet a variety of activities in our courtyard. Our active guests can choose from ball retrieving, Frisbee catching or free-style play. For the less active, long walks with lots of petting are always welcome.
Play time is a great way to breakup the daily routine for your dog. One-on-One interaction can make your dogs visit more enjoyable.

Bessy Luder’s Trail
In 2001, we designed and built a trail in memory of a longtime customer named Bessy Luders. Bessy, a true animal lover, had several dogs each of which played an important part in her life, especially in her later years as she became blind and lived alone. Upon her death, Bessy left a part of her estate to Day Hill Kennels to recognize and honor the love and companionship that pets provide their owners. With her memory in mind we established a trail walk complete with beautiful plantings and seating benches that we hope you and your pets will enjoy for years to come.
