Established in 1976, Day Hill Kennels has been providing the Greater Hartford Connecticut area with a convenient and reliable boarding and grooming facility. In 1985, we designed and constructed our new facility with your pet's safety and comfort in mind.

Our staff of professionally trained animal technicians provide constant supervision for all our guests. To insure your pet's good health, we do require that all our guests be current with all annual vaccinations. Vaccinnations for dogs must include the Bordatella vaccine to prevent Kennel Cough.

With the exception of holidays, we are open 7 days a week for your convenience. Our hours are as follows;

Open Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5:30; Saturday 8-4; Sunday 8-9 am & 3-5 pm and Closed Holidays

Check out time is Noon. Any pets picked up after 12:00 will be charged for that day.

Expanded Day Care Hours Monday to Friday 7:30-5:30.

Exception: If your dog is bathed or groomed on the day of departure, the checkout time is waived. It should be noted however, because we do not provide grooming on Sundays, all clients are expected to pay for their pet’s care on that day.
